Honda Motorcycles Australia has revealed that its new CB1000 Hornet SP will launch locally next month, priced from $17,799 plus on-road costs.
The Honda CB1000 Hornet, which is exclusively available in high-spec ‘SP’ guise in Australia, is a naked sportsbike drawing power from the same four-cylinder engine that underpinned the 2017 CBR1000RR.

The bike rides on 41mm Showa forks, while an Ohlins TTX36 shock suspends the rear. Other key features include Brembo Stylema callipers, a standard-fit up/down quickshifter and a new twin-spar frame.
Tech features include a six-axis IMU, offering customisable rider modes, while data is displayed on a 5.0-inch TFT dash.
The SP variant can be distinguished with its exclusive grey-and-gold colour scheme.
