Honda Australia has confirmed pricing and full specifications for the new 2026 CB1000GT sports tourer, which will reach dealerships in December priced from $23,999 rideaway.
The CB1000GT uses a Fireblade-derived 999cc inline four-cylinder engine, retuned for sports touring with a focus on smooth, accessible performance for long-distance road riding.
The chassis runs Honda’s Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (EERA) suspension front and rear, with an inverted telescopic fork and a single rear shock, both preload adjustable.
Braking is handled by twin 310mm front discs and a single 240mm rear disc with Cornering ABS. Kerb weight is 229kg for the base unit, rising to 241.5kg with panniers fitted. Seat height is 828mm and the fuel tank holds 21 litres.

Touring equipment fitted as standard includes detachable panniers, cruise control, heated grips, hand guards, a centrestand and a five-position adjustable windscreen. A five-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity provides navigation integration and USB-C charging.
Honda Genuine Accessories for the CB1000GT include LED fog lights, a pannier case set, a 50-litre top box with backrest capable of holding two helmets, and a three-litre tank bag.

Honda Australia’s Chris Schultz, General Manager for Powersports and Products, said the CB1000GT brought together the performance of Honda’s litre-class four-cylinder platform with the comfort, technology and practicality riders expect from a modern sports tourer, with premium touring features included as standard.
The 2026 Honda CB1000GT will be available in Grand Prix Red from $23,999 rideaway, with detachable panniers fitted as standard, and is backed by Honda Australia’s six-year warranty.
