Triumph has revealed its 2024 Scrambler 1200 line-up, which lowers the price of entry into the range with a new X variant priced from $22,600 rideaway, which is set to hit Australian showrooms in “early 2024”.

The range consists of a new designation in the Scrambler 1200 X, and an updated Scrambler 1200 XE, the former effectively replacing the current 1200 XC.

Pricing sees the Scrambler 1200 X at $22,600 rideaway. Interestingly the higher-spec 1200 XE is priced more keenly than the outgoing model at $24,900 rideaway.

This pricing translates to a $1490 drop in the point of entry to the Scrambler 1200, while the XE is $750 less expensive in 2024 guise.

Both bikes make use of the brand’s existing 1200cc parallel-twin while the 1200 X is claimed to offer more useability with a 820mm seat height and an improved 16,000km service interval. There’s 170mm of travel on the X and a significant 250mm for the XE.

Advanced rider technology (not fitted to the previous Scrambler XC) makes the Scrambler X more road-oriented, include new optimised cornering ABS, switchable optimised cornering traction control.
