KTM has torn the covers off its updated hyper sports tourer, the 1390 Super Duke GT, which is more powerful and lighter than before.

Motivating the KTM 1390 Super Duke GT is the same engine used in its Super Duke R Evo, a 1350cc L-twin, which generates 140kW and 145Nm in the latter application. This engine upgrade is backed up by a new ram air intake system and a larger radiator, as well as punchier fifth and sixth gears.

Also borrowed from its R Evo stablemate is premium WP Apex semi-active suspension, while all-new bodywork distinguishes it from the outgoing model.

On the tech front, a new LED headlight, a ‘Track’ rider mode, and an 8.88-inch TFT dash.

KTM rates the bike at 213kg, however, this is without the 19.5-litre tank filled.

Australian availability and pricing details have yet to be confirmed.
