Following a brief hiatus from the Australian market, Zero Motorcycles has announced its return to local showrooms via new partners Peter Stevens Motorcycles, which will distribute the electric bike maker’s complete range of products.

Peter Stevens Motorcycles will retail Zero Motorcycles’ portfolio in its stores in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia, with further dealers covering all Australian states to be announced in the coming months.

Zero Motorcycles’ range includes its dual-sport DSR/X, DSR, DS and FX, as well as road bike models SR/S, SR/F, SR, S and FXE.

Pricing for these models are expected to be announced in the fourth quarter of this year, with initial delivers slated for the summer months.

“Australia’s electric vehicle demand is ramping up as the nation’s charging infrastructure rapidly expands, as does availability of exciting new products like Zero’s,” said Zero Motorcycles director of international expansion Adrian O’Donoughue in a press release.

“The powerful partnership between Zero Motorcycles and Peter Stevens will enable enthusiasts to access an established and reputable network of authorised dealers from coast to coast.”

Peter Stevens Motorcycles chief executive officer Darren Munro said that it believes that electric motorcycles are “inevitable”.
