Aprilia revealed its new Tuareg 660 Rally at the EICMA motorcycle show this week, a higher-spec version of its acclaimed middleweight adventure bike which sees upgraded suspension and a number of new accessories.

The brand’s local wing has confirmed that the Tuareg 660 Rally will launch in Australia, with deliveries earmarked for July 2025, however pricing has yet to be locked in.

For reference, the standard Tuareg 660 currently sells for $23,540 rideaway, with the up-spec Rally variant expected to come at some premium.

With a sharper off-road focus, the new Rally variant’s Kayaba suspension features linear springs for improved stability in off-road conditions. Suspension travel remains unchanged at 240mm at both ends.

The bike also gets an SC Project exhaust system with a titanium silencer – which in part has helped Aprilia engineers drop the bike’s weight to 199kg – down five kilograms from the base version.

Also new is special aluminium wheels, which are not tubeless like the standard bike’s setup, but are said to be lighter and stronger and give the option to run a dual-tube tyre system.

Rounding out the upgrades are things like a high front mudguard, aluminium handguards, a larger sump guard and a 20mm higher seat. The Rally also gets its own unique livery.

As before, the Aprilia Tuareg 660 range is motivated by the brand’s latest 659cc parallel-twin engine, generating 59kW and 70Nm.
