Honda Australia has announced the arrival of its new ADV150 “adventure-style” scooter, which will roll out to local showrooms this week priced from $5799 plus on-road costs.
The ADV150 benefits from premium Showa suspension, with a telescopic front-end, and dual shocks at the rear with remote piggyback reservoirs.
Power comes from a familiar 149cc liquid-cooled engine, while a two-position windscreen bolsters the scooter’s touring capability.
“Great handling and rugged construction start with a solid chassis design and that’s where the ADV150 really shines,” said Honda Australia in a press release.
“It uses a duplex-cradle steel-tube design rather than the more common “under bone” style. You may never see it, but you’ll feel the benefits every time you ride.”
Other notable features include a 12-volt charger within the two-litre storage compartment and Honda’s ‘Smart’ key.
The Honda ADV150 2020 is available in three colour schemes: Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, Matte Meteorite Brown Metallic and Ross White.
