KTM will release an updated version of its 890 Adventure R in February that sees refreshed styling as well as a number of performance and equipment upgrades.
The Austrian bikemaker will likely also release an updated version of its standard 890 Adventure, which sits beneath the high-spec ‘R’ variant in its middleweight adventure bike line-up.

The bike also gains a new 5.0-inch TFT dash with USB-C ports and software enhancements for its turn-by-turn navigation and smartphone controls.
KTM has also updated the 890 Adventure’s six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) making it easier to adjust the anti-lock brakes (ABS) via its off-road rider modes. Also new is Mitas Enduro Trail+ tyres fitted as standard.
The bike carries over its 889cc parallel-twin engine that delivers 78kW (105hp) and 100Nm.
Pricing for the 2023 890 Adventure range has yet to be confirmed, but for reference, the standard 2022 model is available from $23,400 rideaway.
