Suzuki Motorcycles Australia is gearing up to release its new V-Strom 1050XT priced from $20,990 rideaway.
The 1050XT sits atop the range, however, Suzuki has yet to reveal pricing for the standard 1050 variant.
Distinguishing the XT is a number of upgrades including wire-spoked wheels and a technology suite that includes hill hold, slope dependent and load dependent control systems.
The XT is also available in Champion Yellow, Glass Blaze Orange and Glass Sparkle Black: the latter of which is the only option for the standard bike.
As reported, the new-generation V-Strom features a 1037cc 90-degree twin, which has been tuned up to meet Euro5 emissions standards and produce an extra 5kW.
Styling has also been updated, and a new ride-by-wire system allows for cruise control, rider modes and traction control.
