Suzuki has joined forces with Icon Motorsports to create a limited-run Katana variant that is exclusive for France.
The American apparel company, which is known for its loudly styled road gear, has designed a unique graphic kit with skull details and fluorescent yellow accents.
Also distinguishing the special edition is an Akrapovic muffler, which is said to improve engine outputs and reduce weight.
The bike also features an aluminium fender eliminator, LED lights and a build number insert on the petrol tank for extra street cred.
Icon Motorcycles has also developed a matching helmet, based on its Airflite Stim Black full-facer.
Just 10 units are currently scheduled for production, with the Katana Icon set to command a €2,300 ($A3,750) premium over the standard model in France.
As previously reported, the 2020 Suzuki Katana is based on the brand’s GSX-S1000 platform, utilising a 999cc inline four that delivers 110kW and 108Nm, and featuring unique styling which harks back to the original Katana from 1981.
In Australia, the Suzuki Katana is available in silver or black from $18,990 rideaway.
