In response to the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions that have stopped riders from getting out on their bikes, Yamaha and KTM have both announced goodwill warranty extensions.
The Yamaha warranty extension applies to all motorcycle, outboards and Waverunner products, but does not apply to ATVS and ROVs.
It does apply to current warranty holders, as well as warranties that expire between April 1 and 30 June, and new models purchased within this period.
KTM owners with a manufacturer warranty ending between March 1 and April 30 are eligible for a three-month extension.
