Triumph has revealed its updated Tiger Sport 660 tourer, which will hit Australian showrooms in ‘early 2025’, priced from $15,890 rideaway.

New to the model is a ‘Sport’ rider mode and a six-axis IMU for lean-angle sensitive cornering ABS and traction control, notably an up/down quickshifter and cruise control are fitted as standard.

While the platform-sharing Trident roadster ($14,250) – which has undergone a similar update – will be made available in both LAMS and full-power configurations in 2025, the Tiger Sport 660 will carry-on exclusively with the learner-friendly tune.

In this LAMS-only guise, the Tiger Sport 660 generates 40kW and 60Nm from its 660cc triple-cylinder engine, translating to a 5kW and 1Nm boost compared to the outgoing model.

The Tiger Sport 660 distinguishes itself from the platform-sharing Trident 660 naked bike with unique bodywork, touring ergonomics, and specification adjustments better suited for long-distance riding.

Notably, the Tiger Sport gets a 17.2-litre fuel tank compared to the 14L capacity of the Trident, and gains a twin seat with pillion grab handles, a height-adjustable windscreen, dual headlights, and pannier mounts to accommodate luggage accessories.

Last month, Triumph also revealed its all-new Tiger Sport 800 middleweight sports tourer, which will launch in the first quarter of 2025, priced from $19,990 rideaway.

The Tiger Sport 800, which debuts a new 800-class triple-cylinder engine, effectively replaces the Tiger 850 Sport which previously played as the brand’s entry-level midsized adventure bike.

Specifically, the Tiger Sport 800 is motivated by a 798cc triple engine generating 85kW and 84Nm, with the bike tipping the scales at 214kg (wet).
