Bell Helmets has teamed up with BMX legend Bob Haro to develop the limited-edition Custom 500 SE Haro.

Bob is a freestyle BMX rider and former motocrosser, and is often referred to as the Father of Freestyle.

He was a stunt rider for E.T. and even choreographed a segment of the 2012 Olympic Games opening ceremony, but he now spends most of his time running Haro Design which develops clothing, bags and art prints.

The Bell Haro edition is limited to just 250 units, and is based on the current Custom 500 SE 3/4 lid.

It features a unique blue-stripe livery and sun visor, and is made of a fiberglass composite.

The helmet is available from the United States via Bell Helmets’ website, priced from $189.95 ($A286).

It comes in five shell sizes, and ships with a special edition bag printed with Haro cartoons.
